What's New Creative Arts Contest We would like to thank everyone who helped make Starting Point's 2nd annual creative arts contest a great success. View the Contest Winners! Volunteer Opportunities Starting Point: Services for Victims of Domestic & Sexual Violence is seeking Carroll County residents to add to its volunteer pool. Volunteers play a vital role at Starting Point by staffing the agency's 24-hour crisis line, providing court and hospital advocacy and assisting at our emergency shelter. Those interested in volunteering should be good listeners, non-judgmental and committed to assisting victims of domestic and sexual violence.
