Starting Point Challenge: Every Step of the Way – Virtual Race!

Victims of domestic and sexual violence often feel isolated in their despair. At Starting Point, we make sure that victims know that they are not alone and that we will be there for them every step of the way, from intervention to healing, even during a pandemic.

Advocates are experiencing and responding to the additional stress that COVID -19 is causing in the lives of victims and survivors and we expect that the numbers of disclosure will continue to rise for some time to come.

Starting Point has abided by the CDC recommendations and cancelled or postponed all our in-person awareness and fundraising gatherings. But, together, alone, we can still make a difference in the lives of victims and their children.

A virtual race is a fun way to lift everyone’s spirits. Choose a fitness and fundraising goal of your choice to accomplish between June 8 and June 26. Invite family and friends, have fun dressing up your campaign, let people know how essential Starting Point services are to our community – help us help victims every step of the way!!
