In 2022, Starting Point advocates provided over 15,000 services to more than 600 victims right here in Carroll County. That impact is immeasurable and has an infinite ripple affect. Changing lives, sometimes saving them, affects not only victims but their loved ones and our entire community. Helping people regain their sense of agency, safety, and dignity translates into success in the home, at work, and serves as a return on investment in our community’s well-being.

24/7/365 days a year Starting Point provides crisis intervention. 3 p.m. or 3 a.m. we will be there on the phone, at the court, or in the hospital providing support so that you will not be alone.

In partnership with the Children’s Advocacy Center, Starting Point supported xxx families whose child underwent a forensic interview.

Court Advocates accompanied XXX victims to court to help with restraining orders.
