In Her Shoes – A Domestic Violence Simulation Based on True Stories. Oct 29 – 5 to 8 PM

In Her Shoes is a powerful, nationally‑recognized experiential activity that brings participants into the lived realities of domestic violence survivors. Built from true stories, it guides you through the complex, layered, and often dangerous decisions victims must navigate as they seek safety.

This is not a lecture. It is a journey. A journey through barriers that are invisible to many, choices that never feel simple, and systems that can either protect or fail the people who need them most.

Starting Point advocates will facilitate the experience and lead a thoughtful debrief afterward — a chance to reflect, connect, and deepen our understanding of what survivors face every day.

And then, we gather. A potluck dinner, warm and communal, becomes the embodiment of what we strive for: a community that shows up, shares nourishment, and stands together in solidarity.

There is no cost to the evening but an RSVP is appreciated at community@startingpointnh.org
